We're on fire... again.

There are multiple wild fires around Southern California. There is one just up and a little over the mountains from where I live. There has been ash fall all day.


You don't like the ash, Mr. Capensis?

I said to someone at work just a few days ago; "Isn't California usually on fire this time of year?"

Yes, this is the time of the year when everyone is surprised to learn that dry hillsides burn in California and that hurricanes strike the southeastern coasts. Why government policies encourage people to build there is beyond me. But I hope you're safe, Joel, and good luck with the purple sun and falling ash.
