Weird growth on my capensis

Ok, folks...I was just fawning over my dews (normal activity, I have to say), and I noticed this weird...er...waddle? on one of my D. capensis 'albino.' It's maroon, about the size of a small pea, and almost the shape of a pear. Do capensis get any sort of parasite that would cause this? WISH I HAD A DIGI CAM!!

Could be that you got the "crestate" form instead.

I have a "mutant" capensis that occasionally produces forked scapes and leaves(rarely), but it is not the alba form.
