Watercress

Just got a bunch of seeds that include more terrestrial cress forms, and have broadleaf cress sprouting...never actually eaten watercress or its relatives.

Thanks bluemax. Here is a larger patch I started. I’ve been eating lots of it. Special thing about Watercress is it’s available now when other wild greens have dried up. I love it.

Thanks hcarlton. I hope you will tell us more about those other cresses when you get them going. I am familiar with another: Little Western Bittercress (Cardamine oligosperma), native to my area is much smaller but otherwise looks and tastes just like true Watercress. Might be of interest as “micro-greens”.
