Vft pollination needed in portland, or

Hello!
I have a VFT that's getting ready to bloom. I'd like to pollinate it this season and I'm looking for someone in the Portland Metro Area looking to do the same thing.

Anyone out there?

I'm 3,000 miles away from you, so I'm not a lot of help, unfortunatel, but I'd like to welcome you to the forums. Um... there are several people her from Washington State, just in case you are in northern Oregon. I know.... big State. There probably is someone from Oregon. but I just don't know who they are. I do a have one possible suggestion: I believe there is a place called Oudeans that is in Oregon that knows thei CP's. They may be able to help.

Why don't you simply self-pollinate the plant? The anthers (pollen sacs) mature several days before the stigma is receptive. The successive flower buds open several days apart. Usually the stigma of the first flower is receptive when the anthers on the second flower are ripe. Simply, bend one flower toward the other and rub the ripe anther, transferring pollen, onto the receptive stigma. Continue this process on successive flowers as they open and mature.

Just as BobZ said, and I found that the pollen, though it matures before the stigma is receptive, can still be used to pollinate that same flower, once the stigma becomes receptive.
