Vanilla orchid soil?

I just recieved a vanilla orchid cutting and need to know what to do with it.
what kind of soil do I use?

i use a mix of LFS and orchid bark roughly 50/50 with a handfull or two of potting soil, seems to work fine.

Should that mix be in a human skull or is a clay pot OK?

works well in either

and for your information Darla would shoot me if i had a human skull in the house. i actually have yet to inform her of the coyote skull and my plans for it

I am using straight pine bark mulch for mine and it is doing very well in it

i put my cuttings on my standard nep mix, 1/1/1 orchid mix(charcoal, ceramic, bark)/perlite/LFS. with a top-layer of live sphagnum.
