Yup, I'm leaving for Atlanta, Georgia this Friday at 7am! I have a greenhouse sitter and am ready for the time of my life! Going to meet some awesome people I hope at Atlanta Botanical Gardens. So y'all be nice and be good while I'm gone! I'll be gone from the 15th through thr 20th, so I'll be back soon.

Don't worry Clint, we'll be being some Umbrellas! lol I don't think it can be much hotter and more humid than NY right now...past few days have been in the 90s with 90% humidity. Perhaps I'll see you at the Botanical Gardens, we're visting Monday.

oh gosh, it's a loong drive but who knows maybe

the sarracenia are probably past their prime by now though. when i went the closed to the public sarracenia house door was ajar.. and i went in and it was spectacular! lol. didn't get caught either muahahah!
 
Oh thats something nice to say, parading around you snuck in.

As for prime, I'd say they are at their best right now. A little late, but still in good shape...least mine are.

Stay away from Trees and aluminum baseball bats down there!

Thor (an obscure 70's/80s rocker) said in my interview "It's the lightening strike capital of the USA, that's why I had to move here from Canada!". Of course, he had a great cheesy song back in the day called "Lightening Strikes"...
