Utricularia reniformis

for the first time my Ut. reniformis large is flowering:

Maybe next season for me, if I am lucky. If you get seed be sure to send it out quickly: this species seems to have a very narrow viability window.
 
Hi,

the flower stalk is about 60cm long and the diameter of the flower is approximately 4cm. The leaf diameter of this clone is about 10cm.

I'll try to pollinate it, but don't know if it'll work. I know, the time span Utricularia seed is viable is very short. Last year I did ditribute Ut. alpina seeds to 15 people (the Tamlin method we're practicing for some years over here

). Seeds more than four weeks old didn't germinate any more.

Having germinated reniformis from seed I can state that it will last for about 2 moths tops, with viability dropping below 50% after the first month.
