What a nice surprise today after shoveling the 2 feet of snow that fell over the past 3 days! I didn't even see the scape, but the flower caught me eye immediately. I missed the intial flowering entirely, although one grower got his chance (however slim) to try with this species.

Utricularia flowers usually remind me of animals. This one would chirp it's welcome of spring! So would I!

Hopefully I can get my seeds to germinate and produce little 'birds' of their own.
