Setup is almost complete. Arriving next week will be a sunpentown su-2000 humidifer which will be plumbed into both shelves in addition to makeshift floor vents installed into both levels for increased circulation/cooling.
 
Wow!!!! Thats a very nice set up you have built there. I really like your Veitchii Pink. Veitchii's are my fav, lol. Anything with Veitchii in it is a Winner.

should a moderator move this post to the trpoical pitcher plant section?
 
yeah. thats one that seems to be continuing growth. Eager to see what young pitcher variation it will put out
 
Very nice setup, Greg. I assume that you have the Hydrofarm lamp on that top tier adjustable? I use a very similar lamp (with the same lighting element) to get seedlings and young plants acclimated before they are placed outside; and I have the lamp only about 15 cm (6") above the pots. Will those plants receive enough light?

I could lower or raise the height if thats what you mean, yes. The plant seem quite happy with the light being provided. My top tier seems to be adjusting the best out of the 2. Thanks for the comments!
 
Greg How is your temps with that light . an if ya dont mind me asking what was the price tag ?
 
Daren, high 80's is the max. The whole unit bulb included ran me 75$ Think I may go after another one if the light system doesnt work out with the shelf below that one
