Unusual growth

Whilst having a look at my pygmy D.Pulchella 'Faredale', I noticed on the end of two flower stalks, a young Pulchella growing on each, both joined to the stalk.

I was wondering if this was common or not?

It seems quite common amongst the pygmy species. I usually notice this after the flowering is done, just prior to trimming the scapes, and it happens on a variety of different taxa. Another interesting note is the occasional crestate pygmy rosette which appear on occasion as well.

Thanks Tamlim
