Triphyophyllum

Dave S.

NECPS President
Is there anyone here who grows Triphyophyllum or knows of a source? It sounds like a great plant to grow.

Its not likely that anyone grows this plant. its super hard to cultivate and we barly know anything about it because of its locations. if you do get to cultivate it, we would have to make room for a super large vine. if you search on google images, there seems to be some potted plants. maybe these guys made it to cultivation after all

from what i know the only plant in cultivation is in a laboratory in tiisue culture in germany . there is know why you can possibley get this plant and possibly in the future as well due to the large amount of forestation in its only location . the only cultivation info known is to grow it as a highland nepenthes win a very , extremely tall greenhouse and to collect the seed you would need to get a very tall ladder . very rare unusual carnivorous plant .

To my knowledge T. is a "lowland plant".

Yep,needs temps in excess of 80 degrees.
