It is not hard.
But what you need is a clean room.
Most of the problem isn't reproducing plants, it is keeping other things out of the media. If you get the slightest piece of fungus or anything else, you pretty much will have a jar of fungus
Then the next trying thing is to harden off the plants. You have to take them from a 100% humidity environment ( just about ) and make them use to 50-60%. Shocking the plant with that drop will kill it quickly.
There is a company that has pre-made sundew/VFT mixture that you can use without a problem. ( but I can't remeber the website ).
And there is website on the ICPS webring that shows the steps.
