OMG h8 pings
Carol Stiff is holding a tissue culture workshop in Milton, WI.

Feb 21st.

I'll be attending and helping out with the class, but there are still a lot of open seats. I believe she is running this workshop for free, but contact her with the details.

For the class, I'll be bringing some cultures that I worked on last year, and some seeds that I plan on culturing in class. I'll be happy to share with others there and trade / swap cultures.

You can reach her at carol@kitchencultureeducation.org.

Hope to see you there!
Nathan

Good work Nate! Looks like a lot of fun. I tried TC about 4 years ago.... it really didn't work out so well. :-D

Btw, Mitchell said he'd be sending the money via Paypal, today.

Says the first post was on the 10th I don't recall seeing it... That would have been fun!

What kind of a transfer area is that? I don't see a bag or anything. Is there an invisible krypton force field keeping the bacteria and molds at bay? ;)

A year or so ago I got all fired up to do some TC with orchid and CP seeds, I collected lab utensils and built a DIY transfer hood area with a rubbermaid tub, bought a pressure cooker and a few lbs of agar, but never actually got into it due to lack of space for the cultures and subsequent grow out area... My dreams are bigger than my living quarters! lol! :D

The students have bags over their transfer areas, for demonstration purposes it's left off. 8)
