Tillandsias from seeds.

I brought many Tillandsias from Florida. And they are still looking fine, even I am sure that the fly were hard to them Hehehe.
Well, however, now, one of the Tillandsias opened a seepod, and there was maybe 30 seeds, I guess.
I harvested them all. and they look fine.


Has anyone tryed to get Tillandsia seeds to germinate?
Any kinds of tips are useful. Like soil, how wet etc.

Actually its very easy to grow tillandsias from seed , its just painfully slow !! Just stretch some fine mesh over a small container , place your seeds on the mesh and spray with water to fix them , keep water in the container , and place in very bright light. keep spraying them a few times a day until they have germinated , then spray at least once a day until they have a few leaves , and then wait about 2-3 years , then mount on some corks or a branch .

yea, but getting seed in the first case is hard
