sunflowers

I started growing sunflowers this year, and they have been growing really well, the wierd part is when i woke up this morning the top leaves of one row had disappeared over night all the other rows were left alone but that one row was missing the top. would that be like a dear or something? my friend thinks it was ants.

Faries. They use the leaves to make their little green suits.

elves wear green =P faries wear pink.

I have heard of birds taking some leaves for their nests but the whole top row now thats strange.

Hehehe.  Or maybe PAK's St. Patricks day costume.

some of them are growing back the leaves at the top some look like they did a couple weeks ago, and some are staying how they were.

ufo's? they obducted your plants and did gentic experiments =P

Deer..no question.

I have seen deer nibble off the tops of small sunflower plants,
(before they have flowered)
its a light snack for them, they try a few, then they move on.

You're all wrong! It was a leprochon (sp?). They eat them to stay nice and green

I think it was snowbirds. I heard the there was a big flock of them that just migrated to Florida. You are on their migration route from the Vancover area.
