Stratification questions

2 questions:

1)Do p.planifolia and p.ionatha seeds need to be stratified?

2)If already stratified and sent in the mail, does the recipient need to stratify again before planting?

Thanks!

In my experience the seed of SE USA Pings requires no stratification to germinate well. This seed is short-lived and should be sown as fresh (soon) as possible.

Yep, just scatter them on your soil mix, usually peat/sand. I have found that keeping ionantha flooded will keep these "annuals" living for quite some time. I have had my coloney of flowering size plants for about 2-3years!

Oh yea, PS: for your second question, don't worry about it. Just scatter em soon
