Sout facing window

Would a south facing window be ok for light until the weather is warm enough for me to move the pots of mint herb outside?

mint can go through dormancy(for next time) my mom's starts growing around mid-april

I'm trying to grow some seeds not that plant yet. I have no more space on any East windows so would South be ok? I know that East gets the most light.

East is best for CPs because morning sunlight doesn't burn the leaves. South is actually where the most exposure is, however - for those living in the northern hemisphere. I think at this time of year either would be appropriate for starting seeds, as long as your daytime temperatures aren't too high.
