NICE!!

What conditions do you grow the D.admirabillis?
Does it go dormant?
What night temps. does it need?

That D. callistos flower is remarkable. An excellent photograph as well. Do you have any pictures of the foliage?

Drosera glabripes... I just can't get it to grow for me.

Hello,

I grow the Drosera admirabilis in a greenhouse, that is heated to about 5°C in Winter. The plants do not die back, they just don't getnew leafs in winter. This is the first time, that these plants flower for me. In Summer temperatures can reach about 35°C.

Here is a picture of my Drosera callistos from last year. I do not have a newer picture of the plants

I grow Drosera glabripes the same way as Drosera admirabilis. On our last german meeting (here are some pictures: http://www.utricularia.net/sonstiges/wuerzburg2005.htm)i showed the plant and was told, that it is possibly not a "pure" Drosera glabripes but rather a hybrid with it. So i'm once more looking for the "true" species

Cook's carnivorous plants sold the "true" form a while ago(or at least it looked like the true form). It looked like a small D.madagascariensis.
