Shipping size?

Kate

Far too old to grow up now.
I have some pings I want to send out. I plan on sending them potted yes, it will cost more but I will feel better, especially after the trouble I had getting them into the pots in the first place.

Since I am sending them potted, size doesn't really matter does it?

Thanks

I have always shipped my pings bareroot. Often during shipping, the soil in the pot might become loose and fall out. If this happens the leaves of the ping can be damaged. The worst case scenario is when the pot with soil smashes the plant.Ouch

If you are planning to ship the plants potted, try to prevent the pot/soil from moving/falling out etc.

I agree completely with CP2k, though it sounds better, it usually turns out worse than just bareroot with a little moist sphagnum around the roots and in a sealed plastic container of one kind or another.

hmmm, you have a point, I hadn't thought of that.

I'll see what I can think of.

Thanks.
