SF Conservatory

Hey All,

I went to the SF Conservatory of Flowers this past weekend and took a few pictures of the neps with my incredible phone camera. A few of their plants were blooming, including the truncata with a huge 3ft+ spike.

A very nice raff

Oh boy truncata. Can you imagine a robcantleyi like this?? (in 20 years of course hah) That stem is just about a quarter in diameter.

That's all my phone could handle hah. They had a few others, some small and some big, but these were the best.

I think it's that variegated alata that's slowly making the rounds up the Cali coast.

That truncata is a monster!
