Sarracenia

Okay,
I found that one of my Sarracenia (purpurea, to be exact) was potted in Long Fibered Sphagnum only... No sand... No perlite...
Will this have an effect upon the plant? It seems to be thriveing in its current condition.

LFS is a standard base for many sarracenia, so you are good to go!

I've only encountered plant that were in a peat-sand mix... I was slightly worried.
