Thought some will enjoy this.
I have been going out everyday for about a week now and hand pollinating a S.pp I have. I remove its veil and then run my paint brush thru the basin and over all the Stigma. This morning things did not go as planned, it was early, still had coffee in one hand... went with the flow.
As if it was sitting on the fence waiting for me to arrive. It buzzed in within 30 seconds of me pulling off the veil.

Found the door.

Crawled in and went to work.

Since this is an informational forum... I think this demonstrates that big bees can pollinate Sarracenia pp.
