S. Purpurea? Rosea? It has a large "dewlap"

What form or variety might this be?
I don't see them with this large of a "dewlap" that often.

Haha it does indeed resemble the dewlap of an iguana. That structure is called the "wing" or "ala". While I don't grow S.rosea, I do grow S.p.purpurea, S.p.venosa and S.p.venosa montanta. I've often seen these exaggerated ala in late season pitchers in the fall in several of them. Are these all last years pitchers or does this particular plant hold onto this trait throughout the growing season ?

They are last year's pitchers but they've been growing like that since I got them in March of last year.

My S. Purpurea do exactly the same thing.

It looks like you've got a rosea to me. The lip is huge and the pitchers seem to be pretty sizable and tubby. Try to bloom it to find out for sure.
