My Father-in-Law is a Pastor and he used the Resurrection Plant for an object lesson...Then he gave them to me...Yes!

Cool Plant

I have one, I just planted it today.

i have one too , they're cool plants .

This is a very amazing plant but do you know that these plants are threaten as wild collected in Mexico and other area....

Is this plant in cultivation by nurseries or is it being field collected to sell??

I bought mine at a cp nursery. Aren't there more than one species of Resurrection plant?

Unfortunately, the article I read (in Spanish, from Mexico), spoke about wild collected plants and sold worldwide...

I will try to find on internet again this article.

What is most stupid is that many plants are cut without their roots so chance to really grow (not rebirth with water and drying without) is very poor.

Selaginella lepidophylla : see links in nture and a comparaison of both stages (dry and wet)
