My name is DrNo7 and I am a Research and Developer (R&D) specialist in the field of Biochemistry. I am currently running experiments to use carnivorous plants to create an artificial environment (AE) to grow other rare, and specialized plants. Welcome to TF! Your line of research sounds intriguing. Can you elaborate?

I don't want to go to much into depth (mainly because I am trying to patent the idea) but I can give you a general overview:
Through several experiments, I find that tropical carnivorous plants (tropical sundews and Nepenthes species) regulate humidity in a biological effort to keep their environment at a constant. By regulating the humidity (moisture content), they also regulate temperatures. I am using their natural abilities to grow another plant: Salicornia. Coincidentally, I found that both tropical CP's and Salicornia grow in unique environments, similar to each other. I am creating an apparatus to grow both plants: one helping out the other.
