I fertilize my tuberous sundews for only a year now with 1/4 strength fertilizer sprayed on the leaves. It seemed to improve their growth but not dramatically, on D.peltata, stolonifera, macrantha, and i have to try it on modesta, neesii ssp borealis when they will grow out from dormancy this automn.
How was the results with milk? Any 'bad odors' from it?
Until now milk worked well on Dr.peltata & auriculata. I will try other species as well. A friend used milk on Dr.whittakeri ssp. aberrans and it grew very well.
Greetings,
I would only try a very diluted fert to the leaves but I guess a misting of low fat milk to the plant would be beneficial to the plant. Don't think that I would fert the soil.
