Question about Division

I have an S. Alata that has already started growing again. I just realized that it should be divided or put into a bigger pot. If I do it now will I shock the plant or is best wait until next year.

I doubt it would do much hard to the plant, if any at all. I have re-potted sarracenia in the middle of the year with no problem.

As with pruning roses in late winter, before new growth begins, it is wiser to mess with a plant when it's asleep.
