Primuliflora cuttings

My P. primuliflora seems to be dying, so I took all of the leaves off (well, they more like fell off...) and put them bottom-down in sphagnum peat inside a closed plastic bag. I have them near a windowsill so they get a little sun, but not so much that it dries out the medium. I have the bag somewhat squished, so a lot of the extra air is removed. Am I doing this right? Anyone that has done leaf cuttings before, can I get some instructions or tips?

Sounds right. Make sure you don't have standing water otherwise they will rot

Well there really isn't any water in the bag, other than the damp peat. For the peat, I soaked it in water, and then squeezed it to remove all excess water, so it was just slightly damp.
