Is the food in the little towns as good as I have found it to be in parts of Central and South America?

Thanks for all these pics and travel logs. Yours were some of may favorite articles from CPN in the early 90s. Some uf us have no local areas to find such gems and we have to live carnivorously thru you...um, I mean vicariously.
You know what i mean and we sure appreciate it!

As always, fascinating to read and fantastic photos. Like Joe, I have to live "carnivorously" through these traveloques so I enjoy it quite a bit.

Thanks for the effort in getting it all written and pics up.

Might want to tie a string around your finger next time to remind yourself to buy gas.
