so im starting some lotus seeds and im having a really hard time figuring out what soil to plant them in. so i went to home depot and bought some compost/steer manure mixture and some sand. i was thinking about doing the base in the compost mix, then mix the sand in twords the middle and then do a layer of sand on top to hold it all down. any thoughts?
