I would not recommend temperatures below 45F if the plants are not well-established. If the plants have been grown indoors under lights(temperatures not below 50F) etc., moving them outdoors in the cold is not a good idea...
While I agree with CP2k I would like to add that I left my Mexi-Pings out last fall a little too long and they got hit jard one night. I didn't lose any but it slowerd a lot of them down. So they can take a quick cold snap and survive but it is best not to chance it
