Pinguicula laueana

Um, why hasnt my Pinguicula laueana changed its rossete to a carnivorous rossete? Its still got its succulent growth!!
Im using 1:1 one part peat to one part sand. Thats the soil it came in. My other butterwort, P esseriana/ehlerisea? is in pure peat and it has changed its rossete to a carnivorous rossete. My P. x weser is in pure peat, it has also got its carnivorous rossete. And, my Pinguicula laueana has got 2
rossetes that are joined together. When is the best time to separate them? How do I seperate them?
Thank you for your help,
Dino

Could somebody please help me?

The rosettes can be separated at any time during the year. Just carefully pull them apart.
Not sure why your laueana is not in summer growth. Maybe it is the photoperiod.

Well, I have separated the crowns. I noticed some of the rhizome was brown.
One crown has 2 white, healthy roots going into the soil. The other crown had no roots at all. How do I stop this rhizome rot?

Keep the plant dry for a while and remove dead or rotting leaves.

O.K.
