Pinguicula gigantea after extended dry period

Here is a photo of one group of Pinguicula gigantea that did not do very well with being dry for sixteen + months:

Fortunately many others did just fine, and it only takes one survivor to repopulate a collection.
 
But there's still some life!
 
For some reason I've had 0 luck with P. gigantea. Both plants I have tried expired.
 
16 months? Yow! I'm surprised you have anything left besides dust! I definitely couldn't get away with that myself.
