I have not yet flowered this form. I am hopeful that it will bloom soon and I will not have to wonder about it's ID.

Hi Joseph,

Very nice and healthy plant as usual

The true Pinguicula ehlersiae var albiflora is really different from the f. white flower of P. esseriana.

Things will change in the near futur for us in this taxonomic nightmare with the Pinguicula esseriana var esseriana and Pinguicula esseriana var ehlersiae.
Pinguicula jaumavensis will be ranked as a variation of Pinguicula esseriana var esseriana.

Thanks Eric,

So Pinguiciula taxonomy is about to be realigned, Very interesting. As usual in the world of plants, things are changing.

Thanks for the photo of the flowers.

Nice photo comparison...they are beautiful flowers. And that ping is absolutely flawless! Such beautiful form and color.

Well I hope pings aren't the taxonomic nightmare droserae are.
