Ping kondoi & general question

Hi:

I have my Mexican ping collection. Am growing them in mix of new zealand spaghum and perlite.

I can find no growing information on Ping kondoi. Would someone please tell me when it grows and when it hibernates for the winter?

Also, with Mexican pings, should the pots be standing in water during the growth period?
