I am using an Alka-Seltzer/water generator, and have only used it once so far (it lasted a couple minutes). I will check the pH soon and determine if I need to run it again. The plant is inserted in a small hole in the center of a piece of foam material, which rests on the top of a plastic cup filled to the brim with distilled water. Will update further as the experiment progresses.
