I think it might be bad. if i were u, i would take a toothpick and try to poke the fly out. It might grow a fungus/mold that might infect and kill the plant.
i dont know about kill the plant but it may rot the trap.
but this has happend to me but i left it alone and it was fine im sure that the same thing happen's in the wild?
