P. 'Alum' ?

What exactly is this cultivar? I got the impression it was some sort of P. gigantea, but a google search has yielded nothing, including the Photofinder site. Anybody know?

If there is NO info on it absolutely anywhere (including the ICPS site) then I might assume you have either p. "alum" with "" ...maybe seedgrown by somebody? Or that you have P. gigantea 'Ayautla'.

The flower color could probably help with identification.

Here is the flower of p. gigantea 'Synalta':

Take a look at the species description and see if it matches up! I downloaded and saved it, but can't seem to find a link at the moment--but if you want it send me your email and I'll get it to you ;)

Mine hasn't flowered yet.

Does it have glands on both sides of the leaf?

Jim, it looks like it has more than just a little P. gigantea. That looks like a full blown gigantea to me.

Aloha Jim

maybe P. A.L. 13 or P. A.L.3 that got smudged? Both are apparently P. gigantea......

I should be able to come up with more. I'll have to check when I get home.
