Old pitchers

Hi All
I have a small bog with A few pitcher plants in it, Due to some personal things at home I didn't cut away the Pitchers of the plants. Some stayed green under the straw and snow. As it is starting to get a bit warmer and raining now, will the old leaves hinder the new ones?

Jim

No. And their photosynthesis will help the plant grow even stronger.

I agree with herenorthere but I would remove any brown dead parts so they dont mould.

Green is good! It's feeding the plant. Don't "prune" anything green!

Thanks I wont cut anything GREEN LOL The one purepea has a flower starting and the White Tarnok Is starting a flower. The Ping is starting to grow and the VFP's are starting to come to life

Thanks again

Jim
