Okay when will I get gemae ?

Well it is fall my plants are dormant/going dormant and when they were outside(I just put them under a light today) it was hitting 40F every other night and the photoperiode has gone down alot so wheres the gemae ? I put them inside because there is a possibility of frost.
edit I forgot there large Scorpoides that I have grown for 8 months
