new leaves

lots of new leaves on my flytrap but some dont seem to have any traps on them is this normal.they are not flowers.

alot of times the traps well not show on the new leaves untill the main part of the leaves are nearing maturity. With my plant some of the traps didn't start to form untill the the leaf was almost full size. Just depends on the plant.
