nepenthes ventricosa bug problem

My nepenthes ventricosa is in a terrarium and it was growing nicely until the leaves and pitchers were blackening. the underside of the leaves are dark like a brown color and look unheathy and i found little mites on it they look red but some are white. What are good sprays that wont hurt the nepenthes and will actually get rid of them.

Orthene/Isotox is the best stuff I've found for killing all the pests you've ever be plagued with. It is systemic and it absorbed by the plant so whenever the bugs feed, they basically "east themselves to death". You can find it at Home Depot/Lowes/Walmart/kmart wherever.
