Nepenthes singalana

Hi all:

I was intrigued by this species some time ago. Charles Clarke mentioned in his book that this species shows a high degree of variability in the pitcher shape and colour.

For some reason these plants look spectacular even when small.

P.S. natural hybrids with spathulata don't exist as far as i know, but the two species look very similar except for the flattened peristome as shown by spathulata.

In any event a beautiful plant to have. Thanks Rob.
