N00b question

Ok... I did all the research and read the article on bestcarniplants...and read the thing in the savage garden...but I'm still not sure exactly how much sunlight the plant needs. Cuz... I got one for Christmas (another plant

) but kind of tookt the "easy" way. (bought it from Peter D'amato)...

so he gave a prtty big ol healthy plant... shouldn't have any of the problems the seedlings have. Humidity is fine, soil is fine, water is fine, temps are fine, I just dun kno about light. Right now it gets the southern sunlight...it's in a windowsill. This means... light from the morning till late afternoon. (around 3).
All help appreciated!

Nice looking plant.
I grow mine in a south facing sliding glass door. Give it as much sun as you can.
