N. maxima x ?

I'm supposed to be getting this plant along with a n. khasiana sometime soon:

He doesn't know what its mixed with, but its mixed with something. Any ideas? Posted in the nep and the identification forum since some people visit the nep forum most.
 
n. 'gentle' would be a good bet but the leaves seem to wide in comparison to the length of them and the pitcher's peristome seems a tab bit elongated for 'gentle' and well, the pitchers are really upright.

i don't know, my guess is as bad as any.
 
Could just be a young N. Miranda.. N. Gentle is usually more purple with a thinner pointer pitcher lid. Although narrow tall pitchers certainly fits N. Gentle. Or perhaps it's just some unknown N. maxima hybrid.

Hey Guys,

This is my plant I am sending Amateur_Experts way.  Here's a little history:

I bought this plant at either Lowe's or Home Depot.  They were bought on the same day along with 4 other neps that I rescued from HD and Lowes.  

It was a Gubler's Orchid nep and when I posted pics of this same plant back in the spring the consensus was "x maxima".  You can see the thread here:

WAIT A BIT...I am mixed up a bit here...

Now that I look back at the old thread I realize that I am mistaking one plant for another.  The one pictured in the link, is another NEP I have.  The one shown in the photo above that I sent Amateur_Expert is ANOTHER nep I got on that day from Lowe's or Home Depot.

It's identity has not been scrutinized...so I'd better get some closer pics of the pitchers themselves.  Now that I look at it, I do see some fusca in it.  Especially by the way the peristome is.

N. 'Gentle' has a wavy edged leaf and more of a bronze brownish peristome.
Considering Lowe's and Home Despot order plants from the wholesalers by the thousands, I'm gonna say N. 'Miranda'. Also, the pitcher coloration and leaf-growth habit are pure N. 'Miranda'.

Looks like a young N. miranda to me, probably an established basal shoot, Mine has just made a basal shoot and the second basal pitcher is over 8" tall! The pitchers are somewhat long and thin in it's younger stages Also the Gentle has more of a N. fusca (sabah form) look with as someone said, wavy leaves and a furry coating on the plant. Miranda is not furry at all.
Of the two, Miranda's my favorite, fast growing and ENORMOUS!

definitely not a 'gentle', but the small upper pitchers are terribly similar but hmm, i really don't think there is any way it could be a 'gentle'.

miranda sounds like a good bet.

i am a live nursery specialist at lowe's, we do not order by the thousands even though, i know, you were exaggerating on purpose. we get maybe twenty in. also, the vendor's at gubler's don't know poop. met them. they're pests.
 
But I was only slightly exaggerating

Imagine 20 N. 'Miranda' plants being shipped to fifty different Lowe's locations. (how many Lowe's are there? We must have 20 of them in the southeast Florida tri-county area alone). Do the math....
