N. ampullaria and N. gracilis

Well, I'm back from spending a week in the jungles of Tekong. Managed to see a few N. ampullaria and N. gracilis around, which made me quite pleased to see that our local pitcher plants are alive and well.

I was hoping to see some N. rafflesiana too, but unfortunately there didn't seem to be any in the vicinity.

Hope you guys are doing well and that your plants are thriving!

How's army life? Heard that food is MUCH better nowadays than when they had recruits as cooks...cold buns, leftovers -look-alike meals...

Who's taking care of your plants?

Yes, the food is much much better now, thanks for asking...

Right now I've got someone at home looking after my plants, and so far so good!

Too bad that the Nepenthes on Tekong cannot be collected without a permit. They are protected by law. Nice to know that there will be several populations that are safe from collectors.
