My venus fly trap doom is to small!

My VFTs doom/cup is to small and when I take it off and on I rubs against the head of a VFT and the only other cup I have is a slurpee container thats too big what should I do?

leave it off, obviously the plant wants to exspand and grow. VFT's dont need Humidity as much as sundews.
