My first Sarr. flower ever!!

So I went to check out my outdoor bog this morning and noticed this beauty coming up from my S. flava.

Just noticed another bud in the pot as well, this one is S. alata

The weather currently is warmer then usual and temps will be dropping back down, below freezing at night and during the day as low as 35. Will the temps affect the flower in any way?

The flower should be fine, but there's always the chance that it will be aborted if the weather stays cold for a long time. In that instance it will just stop and never grow any further.

Congrats, Yann!

I'd be more worried about bugs than temps if I were you. I lost about 50% of my flowers last year to leafhopper bugs! :(

I don't know how to control them.

Frost will kill any new leaves or flower heads.
