Loopy leucophylla

Here is a confused leucophylla pitcher picture.

I'd say that pitcher has gone loopy.

That may be a sign of leaf hoppers. Though they dont harm sundews, they will make their spit at the bottom of new pitchers and suck the life out of them (the pitchers), causing them to deform like that

That doesn't look like typical leaf hopper damage. The top of the pitcher still seems to be growing healthily. I wish my plants did that!

It could be some kinda Sarracenia stomach stapleing technique::

Or you could grow the plant upside down, then slowly rotate it until it is facing up.

I've seen leucophylla grow like this very odd isnt it.

My flava has just done that, it is almost scary. I check the entire plant to make sure something wasn't wrong.
