Leaf pulling methods?

  • #21
Germination is the process by which a plant grows from a seed. The most common example of germination is the sprouting of a seedling from a seed of an angiosperm or gymnosperm. In addition, the growth of a sporeling from a spore, such as the growth of hyphae from fungal spores, is also germination.

Leaf cuttings do not germinate.

well what do you call it when they make leaves from pullings?

  • #23
I would say that leaf cuttings generate plantlets

"Taken root" perhaps?

Ehh, when something "takes root" it literally roots itself in the ground. I always called it "budding" (since the plantlet starts out as a little bud) or "striking" a leaf cutting.
